Collectively nurturing a New Eden
We believe in being the change we wish to see and leading by example. To achieve this we see a need to develop working examples of regenerative farming or other land based businesses.
It's time to get serious and reorientate agricultural practices towards a more sustainable and resilient path if we want to avoid destroying the ecosystem we depend on for our health and wealth.
Without working examples to emulate and evidence of financial success most land users tend to stick with what they know, doing more of what they've always done. For the most part these mainstream, extractive, heavily mechanised, technologically complex, chemically intensive approaches lead to ecosystem degradation and intensifying simply makes the problems worse, faster.
In the short to medium term the project can act as an educational model and inspiration to seed whole systems design methodology. This can also be seen as a local, ethical and low risk 'investment' opportunity where the original starting capital is grown and multiplied organically using natural processes.
